Request
Skylar (formerly known as Lichtstraatgroothandel) manufactures high-quality prefabricated skylight kits from its own workshop in Helmond. Skylar strives to ensure that its skylights can be installed within a few hours. The skylights are purchased by both private individuals and contractors, so the level of knowledge varies enormously. Good support is therefore essential. Skylar therefore wanted to further professionalize its installation manuals. Good manuals are in keeping with Skylar's high-quality products and minimize questions and problems during installation.

Solution
We have revised the manuals for the three basic products: gable roof, hipped roof, and pent roof with HR++ or laminated 44.2 glass. The skylights have a number of variants, such as installation, type of glass, and mounting points for electricity. The required installation procedures differ, but there is also some overlap. The existing manuals were text-based. Eluxis has developed a template that divides the process into clear steps, supported by illustrations for each step.

Outcome
The result is attractive manuals that, in addition to easy-to-follow steps, also give users the confidence that they can successfully carry out the assembly themselves.
